Election of the 2025 Executive Committee for the Dares Beach Civic Association will be held at the quarterly meeting scheduled for Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at 7:00 pm, at the Harriet E. Brown Community Center, 901 Dares Beach Road, Prince Frederick. There are four elected positions: President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary. Anyone interested in running for one of these positions should be prepared to present a brief bio and statement of interest at the meeting. The new Executive Committee will be voted on and take office that date.

Aside from positions on the Executive Committee, volunteers are needed throughout the year to help plan fun and meaningful community events. Lend your ideas and skills to a community project, showcase your creativity or talent at a community event, or show your support by attending community meetings to ensure your interests and concerns are represented. All residents of Dares Beach are encouraged to participate in a single event or on an ongoing basis. Either way, your ideas and energy will help create a stronger sense of community, bring continuity, longevity, and success to the DBCA, and enhance our community by creating a friendly and safe neighborhood for all residents.
