Mosquito Control Program - 2025 Spraying Season

The mosquito monitoring and spraying season began on May 1st. A mosquito monitoring station has been installed in the community. Dares Beach is scheduled to be sprayed every Tuesday between dusk and dawn, weather permitting. If there is heavy wind or rain, spraying is moved to the following Friday. If the monitoring finds excessive mosquito populations, spraying will occur on Tuesdays and Fridays until the population is reduced.
