Dares Beach Civic Association

Dares Beach Civic Association
Thank you for visiting the official Dares Beach Civic Association website! We are a community of homeowners committed to volunteering our time to create a friendly and safe neighborhood. Join us in our efforts to strengthen and enhance our community!
Volunteers are needed throughout the year to help plan fun and meaningful community events. Lend your ideas and skills to a community project, showcase your creativity or talent at a community event, or show your support by attending community meetings to ensure your interests and concerns are represented. All residents of Dares Beach are encouraged to participate in a single event or on an ongoing basis. Either way, your ideas and energy will help create a stronger sense of community, bring continuity, longevity, and success to the DBCA, and enhance our community by creating a friendly and safe neighborhood for all residents. Use the contact button below to let us know how you can help.
For tips on mosquito control and prevention around your home, check out this informative (and short) video!
The mosquito monitoring and spraying season began on May 1st. A mosquito monitoring station has been installed in the community. Dares Beach is scheduled to be sprayed every Tuesday between dusk and dawn, weather permitting. If there is heavy wind or rain, spraying is moved to the following Friday. If the monitoring finds excessive mosquito populations, spraying will occur on Tuesdays and Fridays until the population is reduced.
See below for more information about the Mosquito Control Program.
